Due to the inherent defects of lithium iron phosphate batteries, the BMS function requirements are relatively high when designing large energy storage lithium batteries. 1) Energy storage lithium battery BMS has an analog measurement function: it can measure cell voltage and temperature in real time, and measure battery terminal voltage, current and other parameters. Ensure the safe, reliable and stable operation of the battery, ensure the service life of the single battery, and meet the optimization control requirements for the operation of the single battery and battery pack.
2) Energy storage lithium battery BMS has online SOC diagnosis: Based on real-time data collection, an expert mathematical analysis diagnosis model is established to measure the remaining battery SOC online. At the same time, it intelligently corrects the SOC prediction based on the battery's discharge current and ambient temperature, and provides a more consistent battery remaining capacity and reliable use time under changing loads.
3) Battery system operation alarm function: when the battery system is running overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, high temperature, low temperature, abnormal communication, abnormal BMS, etc., it can display and report alarm information.
4) Battery system protection function: through the high-voltage control unit for abnormal battery faults such as serious overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent (short circuit) that may occur during operation.
It can quickly cut off the battery circuit, isolate the fault point, and timely output sound and light alarm information to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the system.

5) The energy storage lithium battery BMS has a communication function: the system can communicate with PCS via CAN, the communication protocol supports the Ankerui PCS communication protocol, and the background uses RS485 for communication, and the communication protocol is the standard Modbus protocol.
6) Thermal management function: Strictly monitor the operating temperature of the battery pack. If the temperature is higher or lower than the protection value, the battery management system will automatically cut off the battery circuit to ensure system safety.
7) Energy storage lithium battery BMS has self-diagnosis and fault-tolerant functions: The battery management system adopts advanced self-diagnosis and fault-tolerant technology, and has self-checking function for the module's own software and hardware. Even if internal faults or even device damage, it will not affect the battery Safe operation. The failure of the battery management system will not cause the energy storage system to fail, or even cause battery damage or vicious accidents.
8) The energy storage lithium battery BMS has a self-diagnostic function, which can self-diagnose the failure of BMS communication with the outside world, abnormal internal communication of the BMS, abnormal analog data acquisition, and report to the system.
9) Balance function: passive balance, the maximum balance current is 200mA.
10) Operation parameter setting function: BMS operation parameters should be able to be modified remotely or locally in the BMS or energy storage station monitoring system, and some parameter modifications require password confirmation.
11) Local operating status display function: BMS can display various operating status of the battery system locally, such as system status, analog information, alarm and protection information, etc.
12) Energy storage lithium battery BMS has event and log data recording function: BMS can store a certain amount of 10,000 events and log data of the battery system locally.
