After the engine is running, after the current generated by the excitation coil replaces the motorcycle battery to power the entire vehicle, the motorcycle battery needs to store the excess power generated by the generator in order to continue power supply at the next start. Almost all models will choose to carry a set of six 12V lead-acid batteries in series at the original factory.

Lead motorcycle battery through oxidation-reduction reaction, during discharge, the metal lead of the negative electrode is oxidized with dilute sulfuric acid solution (electrolyte) to form lead sulfate and negative charge, and the lead dioxide of the positive electrode reacts with the electrolyte and free positive charge to form Lead sulfate and water. In this process, the flow of positive and negative charges generates current potential energy, which is the electrical energy we use every day.
